Wednesday Lunch Live!

Nostalgia Magazine presents Wednesday Lunch Live, a spring season of lunch shows with live entertainment beginning on March 14, and continuing monthly through June 2018 at the Spokane Valley Event Center, catered by Red Rock Catering. Free on-site parking is available in abundance, and the Spokane Valley Event Center is fully accessible, without stairs.

Order shows a la carte, or get the whole season for one low price!

Special group rates and retirement community rates are available by calling (509) 443-3678. In many cases, drivers and activity directors can be comped with minimum purchase. Call for details.

Season Passes:

Each season pass for the spring season of Wednesday Lunch Live includes:

1 ticket each to our March 14, April 11, May 9, and June 13 lunch shows at the Spokane Valley Event Center, which include a delicious lunch catered by Red Rock Catering and a fantastic, nostalgic concert. Doors open at 11:30am. Lunch is served at Noon. Concerts begin at 12:30 and the events conclude at 1:45pm. Please let us know if you would like the vegetarian and/or gluten-free option for your meal. No-host bar available with wine and beer.

1 ticket to the Northwest of New Orleans Daytime Extravaganza at the Fox Theater on April 4. This 90 minute concert begins at 1pm on Wednesday, April 4, at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox in downtown Spokane. Doors open at 12:30pm and the show will conclude at 2:30pm. Please note: This is not a lunch show.

March 14, 2018: International Award-winning Elvis tribute artist, Ben Klein!

On Wednesday, March 14, come experience your favorite Elvis Presley tunes performed by one of the best Elvis tribute artists on the planet. Ben Klein has the smile, the moves, and the voice to take you back in time. Ben will be performing with the area’s hottest live band, Hot Club of Spokane! “Now You Has Jazz” is a live music, documentary film experience about local music icons Bing Crosby, Mildred Bailey, and Al Rinker who rose to fame and stardom from humble beginnings in Spokane, WA. Join Abbey Crawford and Ben Klein on this fantastic musical journey that combines live performances and film clips, interviews, and historic footage and photographs. Featured guests on screen include: Howard Crosby (Bing’s nephew), Julia Rinker (Al’s daughter/Mildred’s niece), Jim Kershner, Julia Keefe, Chad Hamill, Jim Price, Bill Stimson, and Stephanie Plowman.

Northwest of New Orleans features the best jazz variety show in town, and now, Hot Club of Spokane and Nostalgia Magazine will bring you a special “Northwest of New Orleans Daytime Extravaganza” at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox! This Wednesday afternoon concert brings all the action and entertainment of our evening shows, but in the grandeur of The Fox Theater.

Featured performers include: Abbey Crawford, Max Daniels, Jace Fogleman, the Jazz Northwest Big Band, and Hot Club of Spokane

Over the last year, Northwest of New Orleans has excited audiences every second Tuesday at the Bartlett music venue, but now we offer a special daytime event at The Fox Theater that will capture the spirit and nostalgia of the concerts of yesteryear. The Northwest of New Orleans Daytime Extravaganza offers a wide range of musical acts performing tunes from the repertoires of Ray Charles, Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Nellie Lutcher, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, and of course, songs from the birthplace of jazz, New Orleans!

Doors open at Noon. Showtime at 1pm, and you’ll be dancing home no later than 2:30pm.

Group and activity vans are encouraged to load/unload on Monroe Street on the east side of the Fox Theater.

This event is at the Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox at 1001 W Sprague Ave, Spokane, WA 99201. Doors at 12:30pm. Concert begins at 1pm.
